Setting

Enjoying the best of Marin, we spend time in the calming redwoods of the Mill Valley area, at windswept, breathtaking Rodeo Beach and in the wide, open spaces of Ring Mountain. An appreciation of the outdoors, a sense of connection to our earth and new play skills are the result of spending time in these beautiful natural settings.

Support

All sessions will be led by at least 1 licensed therapist and supported by occupational therapy students or volunteers. The typical structure is a group of 6 kids with a ratio of 3:1, child to support. Children will be grouped by age and ability. We spend time getting to know your child’s background before groups start, so that we can provide a therapeutic and fun experience to meet each individual child’s needs.

At Friendship Explorations, we strive to make outdoor summer camp a reality for all kids, regardless of ability and offer additional services to support your child's needs.

Consultation with OT/SLP leaders: If you would like to discuss specific needs directly with the therapist who is leading your child's session, we offer consultation at an hourly rate (30 minute minimum). 

One-to-One Aides: ​Some children benefit from individual day-to-day support from an aide. Please contact us directly and we can work collaboratively to determine the best solution for your child. We can provide an aide for an additional fee, or you are welcome to have your own aide accompany your child. ​If we find that your child requires additional support after camp has started, we will contact you to discuss best options. 

Summary Report: Upon request, a 2 to 3 page summary report is available after completion of the group or camp experience at an hourly rate.

How to Register:

  • Click on the “Register” buttons below for outdoor groups or summer camps.

  • After registering your child, you will receive an invoice from Ready Set GO Therapy which you may pay by check, credit card, or through our online system.

  • Your child’s spot will be confirmed once payment is received in full.

  • $100 non-refundable administrative fee will be applied toward the cost of the group session.

  • The price of each afterschool session includes a 30-minute consult with the Lead OT or SLP. You can schedule this consultation anytime over the course of the session, or within a week of the end of the session. Summer Camp 2026

One week sessions from June 15 - August 19 ($945)

*In addition, we are offering a special session for Anxiety Based Challenges, including Selective Mutism and Reluctant Speakers the week of June 29th. Contact us for more information about this special group*

Camp takes place Monday - Friday, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm. Each camp session is tailored to the group attending so many children enjoy attending more than one session. Campers who attend more than 1 week of camp will receive a $25 discount.

Included in the cost of camp:

• Review of therapeutic needs and parent goals

• Customization of the group plans based on individual needs of the child

• Daily email report with explanation of activities and therapeutic benefits

• Daily photo log

  • $100 change fee

    • Cancellation 13 weeks or more: 75% refund minus $100 admin fee

    • Cancellation 6-12 weeks- 50% refund minus $100 admin fee

    • Cancellation 3-5 weeks- 25% refund minus $100 admin fee

    • Cancellation 1-3 weeks- no refund
