Corry Wagner, OTR/L

Founder / Director

Corry had been working as a private pediatric OT for over 10 years. Corry founded Friendship Explorations in 2015. With a background in environmental education and an obsession with the beach, she blends her pediatric OT skills with her love of helping children benefit from the beauty and developmental benefits of the outdoors.

Most prized accolade: Voted “Most likely to do OT at the beach” by her peers of OT graduate students.

Claiborne Morrison, COTA

Claiborne started with Friendship Explorations in 2019 as a student and will be returning this year as a certified occupational therapy assistant. After graduating from Roanoke College, she knew she wanted to pursue a career that combined her love for working with kids and her drive to help others, both of which she found in pediatric occupational therapy.

Claiborne grew up in Virginia and moved to California about 2 years ago. She loves being around family and friends, doing as much as she can outside, and you can find her petting any dog she walks by.

Catherine Datu, OTR/L 

Catherine is a Bay Area native who grew up in San Jose, CA. In her free time, Catherine loves to explore the amazing hiking trails in Marin.

Catherine has always worked with children, whether it was coaching a swim team, volunteering in the NICU or as a behavioral therapist in a public school setting. She discovered occupational therapy when she was a senior at Cal Poly and completed a pediatric OT internship in San Luis Obispo. She fell in love with the profession and continuously worked toward her goal and completed her Master’s in Occupational Therapy at Dominican University.

Lawrence Buot, MS, OTR/L

Lawrence loves to camp, hike and go on a long road trips throughout California and the Pacific Northwest with his wife Angelica and their dog Leo Bear. He grew up in the butter and egg capital of the world, Petaluma, California. Lawrence discovered occupational therapy when he was getting his Kinesiology degree at Sonoma State University. Upon graduating from Sonoma State University he worked as a teaching assistant with kids with autism, physical disabilities, and developmental delays. It was this work that confirmed his desire to become a pediatric occupational therapist and he earned a Masters’ Degree in Occupation Therapy at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. Lawrence enjoys working with other specialists as a member of a multidisciplinary team to create beneficial and meaningful treatment sessions for his students and clients.

Gigi Galliani, MS, OTR/L

Gigi is a fourth generation Italian San Franciscan who grew up in Marin County, where she developed a passion for exploring the beautiful scenery of Northern California through hiking, swimming in the ocean, skiing in Tahoe, camping, and beach volleyball. Gigi loves being creative and has a vast imagination that she channels into art, cooking, and of course her OT sessions.Gigi was first exposed to OT when she volunteered at Ready Set Go Therapy, where she decided pediatric OT was the perfect career choice for her, as it combines her love for health science, creativity, and working with children. She then went on to earn her Master’s of Science at A.T. Still University in Arizona. Gigi is thrilled to continue her passion for pediatrics at the same clinic where it all began.

Kristen DeMont, MS, OTR/L 

Kristen is a nature lover and finds her joy being outside on the trails of Marin, in the great Pacific Ocean, and in her sunny Fairfax garden. She loves music, dancing, yoga, camping, backpacking, swimming, meditation, and spending time with her family and friends. She is a Marin native, who grew up in Sleepy Hollow and was a committed Sleepy Hollow Sea Lion every summer! She earned her Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in San Diego county, which gave her the chance to enter a career field she was passionate about, and surf every day! Kristen has worked in multiple OT settings and is passionate about the unique and meaningful ways that occupation can support someone's journey through life. She will always find authentic and meaningful ways to connect to a child and their families to support their journey, and in doing so believes she is also on a path towards greater health and fulfillment.

 

 

Courtney Malachowski, OTR/L 

Courtney is a California native that loves to spend her time swimming in San Francisco Bay, running in Golden Gate Park, reading about nature and being in nature with her dog Brody. She has been learning Greek for almost two years now as her partner is Greek and they try and visit friends and family in Greece yearly. Courtney’s passion has always been to help children play, grow, and learn in a creative way. She has spent many years working with children as a ballet teacher, advocate for foster care youth, behavioral coach for non profit organization for children and teens with autism and as an occupational therapist in San Francisco Unified School District. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at University of San Diego and her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at Dominican University of California. She has experience in working with children diagnosed with autism, developmental delays, attention deficit disorder, dyslexia and dysgraphia, emotional regulation challenges, cerebral palsy, and other neuro motor deficits. Her specialty training is in Ayres Sensory Integration, Quickshifts: Use of Sound in Sensorimotor Integrative Treatment, Sensory Diets, Astronaut Training: Sound Activated Vestibular Visual Protocol, Nature Based Therapy, Therapeutic Listening, S'cool Moves, and Handwriting Without Tears. She is excited to continue growing with her clients at Ready Set Go Therapy.


 

Kylie Farrenkopf, OTR/L

While growing up in Salt Lake City, UT, Kylie did competitive Irish dancing, swimming, and water polo. She witnessed many of her teammates sustain injuries and supported them during their recovery process.  Kylie has always been very passionate about helping children and adolescents. She has experience working and volunteering in a camp for children with disabilities, a hippotherapy clinic, and a residential rehabilitation center for female adolescents.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. She then obtained her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA. When Kylie moved to the Bay Area, she fell in love with the hikes, parks, and restaurants. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, going to country concerts and being outdoors in the sun. 


 

Elizabeth Goodman, OTR/L

Elizabeth is a California native who grew up in Los Angeles and attended the University of Southern California for her undergraduate, master’s, and clinical Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree. She moved to the Bay Area in fall 2022 after graduating from USC and is excited to explore the beautiful cities in Northern California. Elizabeth played soccer in college and is an avid sports fan who can be found cheering on the USC football team on Saturdays and her favorite NFL team, the Baltimore Ravens, on Sundays. She also enjoys snowboarding, trying new restaurants, and watching documentaries.  Working as a sleepaway camp counselor as a high school student sparked Elizabeth’s passion for working with children. She chose to pursue a career in occupational therapy because she values holistic, individualized, and creative approaches to promote health and wellness. She is especially interested in sensory processing, emotional regulation, and feeding. Elizabeth is excited to make meaningful connections at Ready Set GO and to help children and their families achieve their goals.


 

Julian De Martinis, OTR/L 

Julian is a recent west coast transplant who moved to the Bay Area from New Jersey in spring 2021. He works full-time at a school district in Sequoia Union as the district’s OT when not at RSGT. Julian graduated from Boston College with his undergraduate degree in English 2012 and from Kean University with his Master’s Degree 2017. It was at BC that Julian first learned about occupational therapy - and a quick observation of school-based pediatric OT confirmed to him that it’s where his future lay. His speciality and experience throughout his career has been in pediatrics. Julian has experience with early intervention, school-based services, and outpatient clinical settings. He has training in aquatic therapy, kinesiotaping, physical agent modalities, and splinting and casting the upper extremity. Julian has worked as the primary OT for a Brain Injury team and has experience with inpatient to outpatient transitions and evaluations.  When not working, Julian loves to explore the city, watch Italian soccer, and spend too much time on fantasy football. He’s a passionate reader and writer who spends his spare time consuming the newest fiction releases and writing his own fiction and sports work. He’s been a featured columnist on ESPN and Goal.com.

Renee Trimarco, SLP

Renee completed her Masters degree in Communication Disorders at the University of Texas at Dallas in 1998. She is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of California and nationally certified through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She has practiced for the last 20 years in both private and public schools serving preschool, elementary, middle and high school students. She has experience working in early intervention and children with autism, developmental delay, attention challenges and moderate-severe learning disabilities. Renee’s style is playful and nurturing with great attention given to developing a trusting connection with her clients as a foundation for working together. Her goal is to improve her clients speech and language skills in order to expand their confidence and competence using language to form connections with others.

Renee has lived in the Bay Area since 1998. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, hiking on Mt. Tam, practicing yoga and spending time by the sea.
